Hillcrest Cluster is a quiet, family-friendly community tucked away in northern Reston. One of the first clusters built in Reston, it is home to mature trees and established landscaping.
The National Wildlife Federation has certified Hillcrst as a Backyard Habitate community.
Although all 173 Hillcrest houses have the same street name, Saffold Way, for their address, they are located in four distinct sections: The Bridges (62 houses) Bryan Courts (33 houses), Hillcrest (25 houses), and Fairfield (53 houses). A sign is provided at the main intersection, which directs visitors to the appropriate house number. It is important to know which section you are in, since different standards for outdoor elements apply to each. The cluster contains 28 acres, of which almost 11 acres is common grounds. The commonly owned area includes 2 playgrounds, 25,090 square feet of sidewalks and walkways, and 4,786 square yards of roadway and parking areas. |
